How It Works

Contact us first

Reach out before purchasing to let us know a transfer is coming. We'll provide our FFL information for the seller or retailer.

Seller ships to us

The seller or online retailer ships the firearm to our FFL. We'll notify you when it arrives.

Schedule your pickup

We'll set up an appointment at a time that works for you. Transfers are handled by appointment only.

Complete the paperwork

Fill out the ATF Form 4473, present valid ID, and pass the NICS background check. We handle the rest.

Walk out with your firearm

Once everything clears, the firearm is yours. The whole process typically takes about 15 minutes at pickup.

Transfer Fees

Service Fee
Standard transfer (per firearm) $35
Additional firearm (same transaction) $5
NFA item transfer $35

Fees are per firearm unless noted. No hidden charges.

What to Bring

When you come to pick up your transfer, have the following ready:

Valid Photo ID

A government-issued photo ID with your current address. Virginia driver's license or ID card preferred.

Payment

Transfer fee is due at pickup. Accepted payment methods — contact us for details.

Good to Know

All transfers are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins. Virginia residents only — we cannot process transfers for out-of-state residents unless the firearm is legal in both states and federal law permits.

If NICS returns a "Delay," the firearm will be held per federal and Virginia law. We'll keep you updated on the status.
